INB/ELIXIR-ES & BSC: 19th European Conference on Computational Biology

The Spanish National Bioinformatics Institute (INB/ELIXIR-ES) and the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) organize 19th European Conference on Computational Biology (ECCB2020), this year the motto is Planetary Health and Biodiversity.

The ECCB2020 is the main computational biology and bioinformatics conference this year in Europe and will take place from August 31st until September 8th, 2020.
Due to the current circumstances surrounding COVID-19, the ECCB will offer a reduced and virtual event full of scientifically attractive talks for nine days.
The ECCB2020 main conference on September 7th and 8th will offer a two-day programme with a significant number of top keynote speakers and insightful themed talks selected from delegates submissions as well as exciting sessions from different bioinformatics communities including ELIXIR as European representative. The week prior to the main event, delegates will be invited to join the New Trends in Bioinformatics by ECCB, a newly designed format to virtually hosting a selection of ECCB2020 workshops and tutorials.

ECCB2020 welcomes scientists working in a variety of disciplines, including bioinformatics, computational biology, systems biology, artificial intelligence, biology, medicine, environmental sciences, and many more. Participating in ECCB2020 will be the perfect opportunity to keep pace with cutting edge research while interacting with a diverse and broad representation of the research community across many domains in Life Sciences and beyond. We are sure that the conference will facilitate knowledge dissemination of great interest and benefit, vivid scientific debates and collaborations, enjoyable interactions through virtual platforms and will stimulate a creative exchange of ideas.

Program is available and can be seen here. Registration is open.
