The Eva Luise and Horst Köhler Foundation in Germany, which has been committed to research into rare diseases since 2008, announces its « Rare Diseases in Times of a Pandemic » care research project for 2021 in collaboration with the Alliance of Chronic Rare Diseases (ACHSE e.V.).
The current pandemic poses particular challenges for the health system. Vulnerable groups, which include those affected by rare diseases and their relatives, have been experiencing this painfully for months. With this health care research project, the Foundation would like to contribute to improving the data situation.
In the context of the project, a call for proposals is currently open and will close on August 15th.
The funding framework includes a maximum of € 70,000, and the duration of the project is 12 months.
