The ELIXIR Heads of Nodes have approved a proposal by a nascent Toxicology Community to become part of ELIXIR’s portfolio of Communities, subject to the preparation of a Community white paper.
This workshop will be the first opportunity for this Community to meet under ELIXIR auspices.
The aim of the workshop is to develop the necessary agreed understanding of priorities and future activities for the application and use of the ELIXIR infrastructure in the domain of bioinformatics and cheminformatics for toxicology. Taking input from the meeting the Community will prepare its formal white paper for formal approval.
Attendees at the workshop will be key members of the Toxicology Community and relevant representatives of ELIXIR Platforms and Communities. Normally meetings of this kind are restricted in their numbers of attendees but as the meeting will be held virtually there is an opportunity for a wider range of interested parties to attend.
